Neither really, Kev Just got a bit of an obsession ith the Soldier Palmer, and variants. I gues there's a wee legacy there from the Crippler series in the way of the long, leggy mallard, but not a conscious thing.

Its a nice looking flybut not a variation of a soldier palmer ..more a red palmer a soldier palmer has a short red tail.....looks like a kind of bumble ,I think it looks great.
