Question Salmon/Sea Trout

Well, this season I have decided to attempt Salmon and Sea Trout, in a more 'serious' fashion. Since beginning fly fishing i have dabbled in this, but never gave it a proper go.

So in light of this I've decided to tie some patterns, which has been a HUGE change compared to my usual size 28 nymphs. I think this is reflected in the quality of flies, as they are by no means perfect.

I have very little materials in the way of salmon flies, so have made use of what I had. I'm intending to try experimenting with some marabou, of which I seem to have millions of packets.

So on to the flies.... please C&C most welcome (It's the only way I'm going to get better)

Nice flies mate, stick a false hackle on that second one.

Swap your tail and wing colours around on the first one too.

I may be wrong but your big shrimp might need a good soaking before it will sink.

Great flies though and will all catch fish.

Thanks GFL, these are my very first attempts so are poor, to say the least I did tie the first one (cascade variant?) with an orange tail and black wing. Also done some in chartreuse...

Thanks for your kind words though
