Default Pheasant tails

Just thought I would share some of the nymphs I have knocked up for the new season. Weatehr is gradually warming now so thinking about lighter nymphs and the 4mm beads have been put away (well for most of the holes atleast).

Most of these are Sawyer inspired but the grub is the one I reach for most often for some reason.

Anyone care t share their favourite pheasant tails?

Very nice indeed, liking those.
I havent tried a jig hook myself, keep meaning too as I think they'd be ideal for these high water winter conditions with lots of debris in the rivers.

Cheers guys and cheer for sharing crammpy, they look like they would be good during a buzzer hatch.

Jig hooks are really good when the fly is going to bump bottom, definitely catch up a lot less.

They look pretty much like wot I tie up for the rivers, though I don't get to use them as much as I'd like. I usually put a wee bit of something hairy at the thorax to give it a bit of leggy movement. A spot of hair's fur or maybe some peacock glister. Have no idea if that makes a difference, but I like it.
