Sorry I can't offer any specific patterns for the loch apart from standard wets......... Black pennal, bibio, Kate McLaren and a small muffler on top. Stick to the shoreline as theres nowt int middle

FTG,

The patterns you are looking for are Magenta Bumble (swop the black hackle for a pink one), Clan Chief, traditional tandem Worm Fly, Silver Invicta, and maybe a big muddler for a change. All in #8.

Don't fish too close in, all you'll catch is crappy little fish. Fish a line where the stones just disappear and you'll find the big boys.

Thanks a lot Stan, only fished it once two year ago and there were some smashing fish about - Stan,do you know the far end, just afore the cottage where the guy feeds the deer, it was a vast drop off would it be worth a dig?

So, worm fly on the point, bumble on the top and maybe an invitca in the middle??

First cast, I'd be sticking a Wyatt DHE just where Stan described. If all remained quiet, I'd be thinking DHS in black claret and/or Half Hogs in black and red.

In my, somewhat, limited experience all the west side fishes well and only in the extreme south end does the east shore fish well.

I tend to swap the Invicta and Worm Fly about, with the Clan Chief in the middle. The Bumble. well ginked, is always on the top.I've had a lot more interest in the WF than the I
