Default York Tying Club?

Nothing formal, nothing fancy, just a little get together every now and again to tie flies over a pint. I just think it might be fun. The guilds don't really cover York and North Yorkshire, so I thought this might fill a hole. Mind, I'll still be making my over to Leeds.

If you are interested drop a PM or email me and I will sort something out. flyfisherlady@gmail.com

This is a bit sad, it's like asking people to be your friend....
I suppose I ought to have added that the area covered would be York, Ripon, easingwold, Thirsk, Helmsley etc. Anywhere that isn't too far to Beverly or West Leeds where the other FDG branches are.
Anyhoo.

I'd give it a bit longer. Ennio started a casting club for the Manchester area - started off with just two of them but people are starting to take interest. However it took a few weeks and some persistence.

Good luck with it.

Polly I'd be there tomorrow if only to see some of those neat little flies you tie As above these things can take a little time.

Chris.

Awesome grooviness. I now have three, I shall sort something for a Thursday Night. I shall see about either the Slip, The Swan or the Wellie. It will have to be in couple of weeks as I am in Rome this Thursday.

Yay! I have friends....

I'll try and come along ....... if I can bring junior.
He needs to learn how to tie useful river flies (that I can use) instead of mass producing horrible coloured lures.

Excellent. I shall sort something. I'm also sure that we will all help your lad. I'll bring a few of my books along. NOT Oliver Edwards!
