Default Use of poly beads

Sorry folks,
just bought a job lot that included lots of poly beads and I've tried looking for a way to make boobies with them but I'm struggling, all the patterns on t'internet seem to use a single piece of foam.

I'm not big on boobies but there is a time and a place and I would like to use the polybeads if only to extend my novice repertoire. I have never had any luck with suspender buzzers, they look clumsy and big so I'm not looking to tie these at the moment.

So, please does anyone have a link to instructions on tying a booby using poly beads? Or should I just add them to my daughter's bean bag for now?
As always, advice is gratefully received.

Cheers,

Courty

Hi Courty,

I have never tried this as I am still new to fly tying. But I have seen boobies tied with poly balls inside netting (sorta really fine bandy net stuff) which is then lashed to the hook. Not sure how easy it'would be though

Hope this helps
Liam

Thanks Liam,
I've seen one of those and that's why I thought there is another way than the single piece of foam. I've only just started tying and making things up often becomes frustrating...hopefully some kind soul will point me in the right direction.
I'm already having a sneaky look in Her Majesty's tights drawer for assisting netting. Though most of the contents look a little bit on the heavy dernier size!!!!!!!!!!

Early Boobies were tied using a bit of nylon mesh from a pair of tights to hold two polystyrene beads. Not as robust as booby foam obviously so fell out of favour. Same technique for suspender buzzers, 'cept they work best with stockings, not tights.

I'll get my coat…
