It depends really on the amount of hair you are spinning in one go, but on say a kamasan b175 size 10, i guess two or three medium bunches would be about right. about the diameter of a pencil each.

i dont think there is a right or wrong. its a bit like going to south east london from birmingham on the m25. west and east routes will get you to the same place in the end.

i have never been one to criticise any flytying technique... its a matter of trial an error to find whatever is easiest for you.

i agree that you have to take the underfur out to spin the hair well. i also like to spin the bobin to tighten the thread - i find it to be stronger that way, it doesnt fray and the smaller diameter of the thread digs into the hair better.

It's not the right way or the wrong way - just my way
