Default Knotting goose biots

Hi all
Tying some hawthorn flies for next season but having some trouble with the legs. Don't like pheasant tail knotted because it's a bit delicate. Trying to knot some black goose biots but this is very time comsuming, any tips. Thanks

A finicky overhand knot. Hold the thick base and curl the tip around over it - hold the loop with the left hand. Grab tweezers with right hand. Insert tweezers down through and carefully grab the tip. Thread the tip through the loop. Don't pull tight until you've got the knot where you want it. Even then, don't over tighten. Add a bit of flexible cement to the knot. You may find turkey biots to be a bit easier.

it might be easier using turkey biots as they a usually longer and would give you more material to tie the knot

just something to consider
