This wee chappie just crashed into the kitchen window



I've given him a cup of tea and some biscuits and he might perk up. What am I 'allowed' to do if he doesn't?

Well, he recovered. And flew straight into the opposite window! A bit of a comedy of errors. He's now on the other windowsill and I've left the window open this time! Lets hope he recovers, again! I'll be a bit more blunt this time - if he dies can I make him into trout flies?

Well, he's still with us. I think I'll box him up for the night. I don't know how the hell my life got to the stage where I'm looking at such a beautiful creature and mentally measuring its gorgeous silky tail feathers and how the delicately marked primaries and secondaries might provide some stunning little wing slips!

I've always thought that they were really cute. Yours looks like it's eying up the local sparrowhawk and asking it if it wants some.
