Default holy sh*t ive done it
decided to fish sharpley for a couple of hrs this morning only taking the flies ive tied myself so went with shipmans,ptns a couple of buzzers and 2 bloodworms.
and low and behold after an hr with nothing put a shipmans on top a buzzer middle and ptn bottom then wham a rainbow only took a liking to my ptn.
i was grinning that much couldnt concentrate on getting it in.what a smashing feeling i had knowing 1 of my flies fooled a rainbow.
just like to thank you guys for helping and answering my constant questions and all of the advice recieved.
a big thanks guys what a feeling.i need to go sit in a dark room and calm down lol.

Well done. Nice fly, nice fish.

Just a thought. Is it my aging eyes or has that hook been straightened a bit? If so and if it was that brownie that did it, I'd have some doubts about the hooks I'm using.

I dont think its your eyes. It does look as if its straightened out.
