That is a belter of a fly. One of those patterns that you know will get plenty of takes.

Guys you are too generous. It's a very quick tie (and even quicker photo).

Here's the recipe. The fly is 1cm in length.

Hook: Tiemco 212Y #13
Thread: Uni 8/0, black
Abdomen: EP Fibres - black, furled
Legs: Turkey biots, knotted
Wing: TMC Aerowing
Thorax: Superfine dubbing
Hackle: Whiting bronze

The thorax should be shorter and I should have left more room for the hackle. It floats nicely though.

like that steve.how do the biots hold up after a fish. and what material have you used for the body.

I consider that to be a "Feng Shui" hawthorn...........there's just something about it
