Big thanks to Phil. Orders have always arrived safely and very quickly. Just recieved some size 28 hooks and some caenis thread and both excellent quality.

size 28!! i have some size 26 and they are tiny, what you tying on a 28? a flea fly?

Tiemco do a straight eyed hook, pattern no 518 down to a 32.

That's the one arkle. I kept seeing trout rising to nothing last year so figured something small would do

They were probably nymphing mate & not actually taking flies on the surface

if you read this months trout fisherman magazine, there is a retired doctor from round my neck of the woods tying size 32 dries!!! he got his hooks from flytying boutique. ive seen him fishing the local venue and he does very well( not jealous at all) not bad for 70 odd year old!!
