Too much tail apart from the second. Again, large thorax apart from 2 and 3.
Good attempts and will catch fish.

Try picking out some fibres from under (or sides of) the thorax with a dubbing needle - this represents the legs of the hatching insect and makes for a more realistic fly.

My preference for ribbing material is oval gold tinsel on smallish hooks (#12 and below) - yours is fine on larger hook sizes

Oh, and Wobbly is correct about the tails, thin 'em out a bit

Need to avoid the tail looking like it's just part of a long body. A good SBS for what you are practicing is here:

Good advice so far Terry,
get yourself some flat and embossed gold tinsel. It's metal and won't slip about like your silver holographic will and will resist the trout teeth better. Also in spite of shuckraiders preference I find it more effective than oval tinsel or wire. Robust enough to resist a bit of velcro and dubbing needle action too to get that all important scruffiness.

For the tails try to use just the well marked guard hairs (better from a body patch than the ears) not the shorter under fur as well. A toothbrush is a handy tool for clearing out the bulk as you hold the tips

Try some tungsten beaded versions in various colours and you won't have to worry about crowding the eye and more importantly they'll get down where the fish are quicker when necessary.

Keep 'em coming!

I've seen more hair on a bald headed coot no to be honest Bigtel these are not too bad, yes they are on the bulky side but I would still fish them. I'd suggest you use half the amount of dubbing etc than you think you'll need, if you use as tiny amount as possible you'll be amazed by the results and find it easier to work with when tying in.
