Default Pike Flies

A couple of attempts at tying a pike fly, mostly inspired from youtube. The big fly is called a Supercharger as far as I am aware, seemingly it is designed to shift a lot of water. Comments welcome.

both look good, think I would stick eyes on that big beast though.
A confidence thing, for me anyhow.

Nice profile on the bottom one. I'd agree with Dave about the eyes - would finish the fly off nicely

Thanks for the comments. The main reason I left the eyes of the Supercharger is because the guy that done the tying on Youtube said he does not put eyes on it because it is designed to move a lot of water and he does not put eyes on them.

If it's shifting that amount of water it'll need to see where it's going, I agree with the other comments a big pair of silver and black eyes would finish it off a treat, otherwise great flies

Hi Bob, hope retirement is treating you well. I will be using that big fella this year when we go to Roscobie but it was a white lure that Dode had on when he got bitten off, twice. I will make some adjustments to the colours. Taking them on the holiday in May as well.

Andy
