I do think everyone gets a bit over excited aboiut the latest "this or that" fritz.

Do you really think it makes much difference ? I've used UV and non-UV blob fritz and I cannot honestly say the UV has any impact on results.

The micro UV is nice because it is a perfect size for nymphs so it jollies up some different patterns but I really doubt the fish care whether it has a bit of gold or silver in it.

During the past winter a uv coral blob has been working far better than the standard coral blob on many fisheries i know of.I know because for a time i was fishing coral blob and gettting nowt, whilst guys next to me where gettting plenty of fish. Was`nt until fellow forum member humungus gave me one of the uv blobs that i started to pick up the odd fish.Still was`nt catching the amount of fish others were with it but enough to convince me that the uv was making some difference.

had a long think about all this last night and we have decided to make all materials available to everyone on the website, including the new materials.this is due to some people not being able to get the colours they require or their local tackle shop does not have it. we will also be opening retail premises in the near future.

as someone said it's like the secret service , we dont want it to be like this and would like to offer the material to everyone at the sametime, not pick and choose who we sell it to. the only time we send material out early is for testing to various fly tyers and fisherman to get feedback on it.

i standby my ebay policy though as i would not like to see the material being sold for more than what it is in the stockists ( i have seen this happen £6 for a £2.50 card of same material) , not fair to anyone.

hope this helps.

A mate of mine has a saying,"something is only worth, what others are prepared to pay".As far as i`m concerned if someone wants to pay £6 for a packet of fritz then thats their choice.I don`t think it`s the sellers fault if guys are prepared to go to that amount or above. After all it`s not just tying materials that go for large amounts. One of the boys at my work paid £400 nearly for a Rangers UEFA Cup ticket.Supply and demand as i see it. p.s. I would`nt pay that amount for a pck of fritz but i only fish for fun not like some guys i know that are involved in the competion scene and take it far more serious.

Which colours did you find most effective ?

You can get it from Tackle and Tying's website
