Default Large Dark Olive (Loch Style)

This is a pattern I tied up for a friend, which is, as yet untested.

Apologies for the VERY poor pictures & 'grubby' looking hook (dam* macro lens)

tied on a size 12.

pattern:

tail: olive cock fibre's
body: olive flexi floss with a fine coat of varnish
thorax: olive antron tied very loosely in a ball with a natural brown cock hackle ran through it (Montana Stylely)
hackle: pheasant wing

Comments most welcome.

Thanks for looking.

Gary,

I really like the look of that but you need to shoot at F8-14 to get the whole fly in focus.

I have no doubt that it will catch as I tie something similar but with a sf body
You are right though that hook looks well dodgy

Hook was brand new out the packet - it's from my vice and apparently still wet varnish
