Apologies for missing pictures.

Hopefully not many of you will have noticed the difference but all the pictures I have ever posted on here have been showing as broken links for a few days. My web hosting people had migrated my web hosting and managed to lock me out in the process. It's been one of those long, frustrating scream at the computer sort of days but I think I've got everything back as it was before. I won't bore you with the details but after the fifth or sixth 'trouble-ticket' email exchange they 'reset my permissions' and that somehow returned the ability to upload files again. For a couple of days my website was displaying an archived version from 2010!

If anybody spots a broken image link in any of my posts please let me know and I'll try to fix it.

Similar thing happened to me. Sugarsync changed the way their public links work and now the images don't display on a webpage. Rather the viewer has to actually download the image. Frustrating.

Why dont you just use ImageShack ?

The chances of them going down are very slim

I use it for a lot more than just hosting images.

Hosting the images I post on here is only one small symptom of the problem. The main thing is I didn't have access to my own (business) website to update it. I upload the pictures to the images folder of my website and use that URL for the links. It's never been a problem before, even though my service provider is based in New Orleans they stayed connected during Katrina thanks to an ex-marine with a .45 and a diesel generator!

This is of a less dramatic nature, somewhere there's a box checked (or unchecked) that was/is denying me permission to upload to my own website. I had it working but now the problem has repeated itself.

Well the renewal isn't far off and if this isn't sorted pronto it's a no-brainer!
