Flaming Norah Wilkie, I bought some of that from Toby, and use it for tying wing posts on para's.
I could tie about 50 flies with the amount you have in one of those.
Great stuff though, hope they work for you, and the lad.

Those flies will work for sure, but do remember to take a comb or brush with you, as after a couple of fish, the fibres are liable to get matted up something chronic and a quick comb or brush through will soon have them back in pristine condition.

Agree Funky Fibre it is easy stuff to work with.... Similar material to, albeit a lot cheaper than EP fibres, which are a little coarser.

Beware though, do not try to mix the two together, for some reason they are in no way compatible with each other.

Toby sent me a couple of proto type plastic dumbell eyes that he is thinking of marketing, so messing about with these eyes and FF, I tied up this pin fish pattern, Peanut Butter style.

Funky is great for the smaller baitfish patterns (up to about 5")and IMO the plastic dumbells make for an improvement on the original EP method of attachment via a Cauteriser and Teddy Bear Eyes.....And there is no way they are ever going to come off

Hi brian, funkys pike & predator fly tying stuff is just excellent mate...

I have found out the hard way, a lot of materials don't mix well on the bigger flys...

By the way nice fly mate...
