Default One of the fortbhoy

i havent tied trout flys like this for a while but this is my rook dabbler one of the first flys i tied myself and i tied it up for a lost forum brother!!! the fortbhoy...

i think every one should tie a fly for him...

Nice gesture. I'd love to share a moment with those on the forum who knew him, and tie a fly in his honour. I'll get on it tomorrow night.

That's a very nice fly and a nice gesture.
If everyone gives the effort and ties one (or two) in his memory, could they be auctioned off in a charity fund-raiser in Stevie's name?

Ive changed my two flies for the competition, a tribute to stevie, a fly he recommended for Arkaig and gave me the dressing Very nice gesture Rook, brings a tear to my eye

but its times like this in life when you think sh1t and its these times that make me chase my dreams even more...

so the next time i am out i will be thinking of the fortbhoy wherever iam.

I have not yet learned how to tie but would be more than happy to purchase some in Stevie memory and donate this to his family or a charity of the familys choice

He would have loved the fly Wilkie as he always liked a bit of blue in a lot of his flies.
