Default Help starting out

I'm interested in starting tying my own flies and was after advice re the kit.

Is it better to buy a starter kit or to buy the vice, bobbins materials etc. separately?

I was looking at something like THIS from Turrall's. My local shop has a Lureflash kit for about £22.00. Veniard do a Paramount Kit HERE I guess the quality in the kits might not be that great.

I want to tie classic chalk stream flies and also try salt-water flies (tropical) such as Crazy Charlies etc.

I appreciate the kits won't have the materials for warm water flies.

Any help advice greatly received.

Apologies. I looked through the last 30 pages and didn't see anything that appeared relevant.
