What is the difference between Uni-Thread and ordinary sewing thread?

Tying thread, especially UTC lies a lot flatter than sewing stuff and is less bumpy

Apart from UTC's 70 & 140 ALL threads, at the moment, we use are by-products of other industries. However, they are chosen for their specific qualities related to fly tying & on the whole, & they work well. No maker/re-seller of tying threads currently uses cotton.

Not true... As I said earlier most sewing threads have high percentages of cotton, which rots very quickly in water.

not all sewing thread is cotton
