Default Uni-big Fly Thread ??

hi everyone.
i was looking at this month's edition of FF&FT, and thought
i would try and tie some of those nice buzzers, shown in BEV
PERKINS article.
trouble is i can't see any of the UNI-BIG FLY THREAD anywhere,
can anyone advise, as to where i can purchase on-line....

can someone please suggest where i might get some
of this, in the colour RED, everywhere i have looked
they have no RED.
i can't believe the variation in price of this thread, the
cheapest i have seen was £1.75 the dearest was £2.55..
for the same product...
would appreciate help............................mick.

Read the article, good looking flies, but I'll still stick with Spanflex for buzzer bodies

have you tried neil at anderson angling?thats the best stocked shop i`ve been in for tying materials!

Haven't seen the article so don't know why the Uni-big thread was specified, but imagine it was purely for the thickness (can't see the ability to use it untwisted so as to lay flat being significant).
If so so why not just use a thicker thread?
Rod whipping thread comes in a wide range of colours and is available from most tackle shops.
I should guess Talbot No.15 or Gudebrod NCP D size would both be at least equivalent to a 3/0.

You could take a look at Danvilles Monocord , this is 3/0 too which is the same size as the Uni-Big Fly Thread.
