Default March Brown

No variant just a good old March brown.
I have been tying quite a few winged flies and have tended to struggle with the wing on this fly in the past but thought this was one of the better ones and have tied up a few now and they all seem to be looking the same.
All comments as usual are welcome.

Yes you,re getting there. I am amazed at how long it,s taken me to get wings on wets to look right and in proportion as it looks so easy, but is far from so. I like tying wet flies, but it seems to me they take longer to develop the necessary techiques than the dries.

Lovely tying.

Is it a popular fly in Orkney?

A very nice MB Dabhoy I usually find the wings splits, even after tying.

Aaaaaaaaagh. I can't believe that I wrote Orkney instead of Shetland

I shall retire to a Nunnery and do penance.

(Genuine apologies)
