Default hobbler

i've been tying my flies for scratchs comp today and tyed a few other patterns for fun. i tyed this hobbler pattern i seen lawrence finney tye in one of the mags.
this is my tweaked version of it

I agree ST but i think the whole point of the fly is the sparseness for imitating buzzers/shrimps/fry etc. Maybe worth a shot in black/golden olive and a silver

That one with you tied, that variant Grumpius Maximus, i didnt think you were one for variants, only pure wet flies not variants, i thought you stuck your nose upand variants

think it's ment to be a cross between a hopper and a dabbler.

i haven't invented it just copied it off lawrence finney.glad you like it stan
