Default Dry Flies For River Wild Browns

Here's a few dry flies I've tied up for next season. Wish I could give them a swim! Patience...

First a couple of comparaduns (maybe they're plume-tips?) coq de leon tails on the first, microfibbet tails on the second, forward sloping wings might help them stay horizontal by distributing weight a bit better. I've left a but of CDC at the tie-in point because I find there's a nasty bump otherwise. It can only help the profile, balance and floatability (so I hope).

Now a couple of f-fly variants. I think I might leave some butts protruding out over the eye on all of these from now on, I think it gives a slightly better profile.

Now a CDC Loop Emerger, an idea I stole from Dave Wiltshire

Now a couple of absolute staples, a foam beetle with a few big dirty rubber legs, and a Klinkhammer.

They're all size 16, except the quill-bodied comparadun (plume-tip?), which is size 14 and the Klinkhammer, which is size 12.

Cheers

Can anybody help me with getting the photos a bit bigger? They're postage stamps at the moment. I took the photos with the macro lens on a basic camera. I had to hold the camera so far away that the fly was a small part of the picture. So I opened up the picture on the computer, zoomed in and took a screen shot, so that the fly would be big enough in the photo.

However, even when you click on the photo posted here, it stays tiny.

Use imageshack for the upload, use the URL beginning with [IMG ] that should post it with original size...

With regards to the comparaduns... Leave the CDC a bit longer along the body so that it tapers off a bit better - should be able to avoid that big step.

Cheers

Yeah I might try cutting them a bit closer too.

About the url, I'm afraid I don't know what you mean.
