Or is it Muddled Buggers? Anyway, here's a couple more on that theme.. this time given the Kate and Soldier treatment...

Kate Buggers Muddle

Hook: B175, 170 or 160 sizes 10 or 12
Butt: Flat silver
Rib: Oval silver or wire
Body: 'Ant Black', or black seals fur
Body Hackle: Furnace hen
Shoulder Hackle: Natural yellow GP body feather
Head: Natural deer hair
Thread: UTC 140 Black

Soldier Buggers Muddle

Hook: B175, 170 or 160 sizes 10 or 12
Butt: Glo-Brite No.4 or 5
Rib: Oval gold or wire
Body: Seals fur mix - reds, fiery browns etc.
Body Hackle: Brown hen
Shoulder Hackle: Natural red GP body feather
Head: Natural deer hair
Thread: UTC 140 Black or red

your probably correct Steve. but i have a similar tying [grubber hook] that's consistently proved its worth on Harray. saying that it's worked else where. even the bows like it.

Savage...this isn't as good as your usual stamp of muddler! You've lost the transition that the deer hair collar provides! What's happening! You haven't lost the muddler mydas touch...I know you rattled that out in a hurry, I still have faith!
