Good looking flies. The wild brownies should go for them. Would also look good with a front hackle (blue grizzle or jay) added.

I was thinking the same after tying them, I have some nice blue dyed Guinea for that job; perhaps I'll try another later

They are nice flies in their own right Gary and I think with the vibrance of the guinea fowl would detract from them.

I'm sure it's the UTC Rob but will check later, colours are holding OK although I'd normally give it a wee flash with bug bond anyway (not on these one's though).
