Default mood and tying ?

Well i thought i would dig out my materials and have a search for Damsel nymph patterns and produce a few.
i attempted something a wee bit unusual trying to braid brown flexi floss as extended body , it looked ok , went to attach to hook shank and it would not want to lay flat it kept wanting to fold back round on its self. used more to make the body. but lost the plot with it trying to get legs lol.

thought i would then see if i had any olive marabou which i did and looked for marabou nymph patterns.
tried 2 and lost the plot with them as well, i seem to have completely forgotten how to tie lol.
ended up putting all my gear away and so annoyed with my self that i cant seem to tie simple damsels lol.

thats just it mate i have been tying spider patterns , adams , and a few more patterns. but when it came to tying more the lure types that is when i seemed to get no where and more frustrated lol.

Gonna get a can of Stella and dig the materials back out and give it an other go. stick some chill out music on ( vocal trance lol ) and see how i get on.

If you are anything like me James, you have to be in the right frame of mind for tying.I quite often give up the ghost half way through one fly if I'm not in the mood for it.At one time I could sit and tie flies all day long....nowadays my threshhold is about one hour.....and thats on a good day...

I've just given in to the lager.

Been trying to tie the flies for the comp, some new materials and a fair idea of what I want.

Tied four now which are as identical as Schwarzenegger and DeVito.

Tomorrow is another.....
