Default Dabbler swap voting

These are the dabblers that were entered in Zimtrout's dabbler fly swap, 14 entrants in all. Please note the only people allowed to vote on these flies are those who submitted flies for this swap All you have to do is pick the dabbler you think is the best of the bunch and also which one you think is second best and pm Zimtrout with your selection) and he will then tot things up once all 14 replies are in and inform us which 2 dabblers have got 1st and 2nd slot (that is if he's good at mathematical calculations). Thanks again Aimtrout for a great swap. and please don't vote for your own fly although I know the temptation is always there....and remember this is all just a fun competition:

1st prize will be some excellent bronze mallard kindly supplied by Toby from Funkyflytying, thanks again Toby

2nd prize will be a dabbler mug supplied by myself (in the unlikely event of me getting 2nd it will have to go to the next most popular dabbler)

So here they are a very nice selection of dabblers that any oirishman would be proud to fish, so it is. Photographs are by myself as I felt I had to give Rob something to aim at for when he does his mammoth wetfly comp, hope ya got plenty of rolls of film for that Rob

Good luck and may the best dabbler win

cheers

mark

Sweet set of flies.

My vote is in.

Great timing because i have put some of the dyed Mallard to one side as well as the Natural Bronze Mallard.

Wasn't in the swap but well done to all that entered
Just a little advice to some that are new to dabblers, If you use a tooth brush or Velcro stick to brush the fibers back before and indeed after spinning on the mallard wing you will get more sweeped back look.
If I had to put money on wingmans fly it would be no1 and it looks like he brushes his.
Happy fishing with the flies and I hope they catch you some good fish.

Great flies, but Wingman does his head varnish differently to #1 - full cloak and JC, innovative color scheme ?#4

Sharkey like his velcro so my gues is #12

Nice swap!!
