Default cormorants for bobblaikie

heres a few cormorants i said i would tie for you with marabou tips.

Not just bobblaikie, I tied some up with the feather tips and they're excellent - top tip

A nice collection of flies. That is another pattern that I have not seen over this way and should try some day.

cheers fortbhoy they are excellent.

so you are tying the very top of the marabou feather to create the wing? also, what material are you using for the bodies on flies 1 and 3?

yes mate the tips of the feather. the body is peacock herl and the rib on fly one is utc mirage. the rib on fly three is utc ice blue hope this helps

not bad mate your wing is a bit long for my taste, i like it so the tips are just past the bend of the hook. have a few more goes at it

nae bother mate. i even got a bit adventurous and added some cheeks. ill use your flies as something to aim for.
