Pretty much kind of evolved from the Grey Monkey Dabbler..

Hook: Hayabusa 761, #10.
Thread: UNI-Thread, black, 8/0.
Tail: Mucky bronze mallard.
Body: Rear Half: Caddis green Ice Dub, Front Half: Ant black SF mixed with gold Lite-Brite.
Rib: Lagartun oval gold, small.
Palmer: One black and one red game hen, stripped down one side.
Collar: Brown cock GP body feather.
Wing: Cock GP secondary, roll tied over body, spey-ish style.

Aye, I'm thinking it'll work as a change fly from the subdued GM Dabbler on the point mate. Just swapping the colours around, hardening the profile and it'll catch their eye. And there was me promising myself I wouldn't tie up a load of new stuff.

Love the looks of that one and the wing is off the hook, very buggy.
Can't remember ever seeing a GP wing, will have to change that.
