Pearsall thread or other thread recommendations for spiders

Hi,

Two questions really:-

What colour pearsall's thread would you recommend I buy for spiders and other flies?

Also, are there other threads which are good as or better than pearsall's for this use?

Any other observations on pearsall's and it's use in fly tying would be useful.
