the lighting is **** on this one, took 5 photos of it from different angles and they are all very dark for some reason.

cheers mate, seen the telephone fly on davie mcphails vids on you tube.
i tweaked it a bit by adding blue partridge and the legs.
tried to get the wing as nice as davies but its not half as good.

Put some flash as an under wing as well, and as a variant try an orange hackle palmered down the body, they're both superb though, i dare say, that telephone fly is better than Davies

Really nice work, the telephone fly is a cracker. If I was being ultra picky the tail on the bumble looks orange whereas the rest of the fly is red which doesn't quite gel (in my opinion), it's still a nice tie though.

i know the tail does look orange but it is red. i will try take a few better photos of it.
