Need to get my posts up so I can advertise a vice for sale in the fly tying classfields. so thought id post this wee number. This was a great summer fly for me last season when the fish were locked onto midge.

The Black Klinky
Hook - Kamasan B100 size 14-16
Thread - black uni 8/0
Rib - small slver wire
Wing post - white aero dry
Hackle - Grizzle cock



Appologies for the photo as its off my phone and also appologies for the wallpaper, I turned the old family nursery into an office/ fly tying room last year and never got round to re decorating lol

Very simple fly indeed, but i dont like using the peaock herl on this one as it makes the fly to bulky for a midge patern. I got told to tie it wih a UV orange thorax from one of my mates and that done well las year too. I do use peacock herl or grey squirell on by bigger klinhammers though
