Nicely done
I have tried all these things and occasionally my tying area looks nice and neat but for some reason I just cant tie without my desk becoming a tip.

If you have an Educational Supplies/Early Years shop near you, get a Scissor Block for a couple of quid, very handy for a Tool Tidy. Something like this
