Default quiet tying forum(comp fever)

the fly tying forum seems a bit quiet than normal has everyone got competition fever everyone must be perfecting there flies for scratches comp

Mine are tied and ready for posting
Listening to my mates I think a lot of people are head f+@ked by Christmas shopping
IV had an easy day lining my sons chimney and fitting his wood burner

Not tied anything for a week
Today I was dragged shopping and then had to put up Christmas decorations which I had managed to get out of since the beginning of the month.

Still debating wether to enter the comp or not. Never tied a conventional wet fly in my life or fished one. Fish mainly nymphs hoppers emergers and the odd lure.

The wife does all the christmas shopping so thats sorted

i got it easier than you MM, seeings i fit liners and stoves every day!!!!!!

Go for it Sarg. Part of the judging is for originality so you'd have a head start there, not being weighed down with preconceptions etc. It's just a bit of fun anyway - nothing to be lost!
