does anybody else use watershed on newly tied hedgehogs / muddlers

Anything I want to float well, I watershed. Good stuff, can't help but think I know the smell of it...just can't put my finger on it..

permafloat is white spirit...watershed smells like something I have used in the past..

have used it in the past, but seem to be happy with just the spun deer hair, it usually takes a good wave to sink them

I do with hogs. I use them as the point fly on a washing-line rig so I can be hanging a couple of nymphs or buzzers below the hog. Give them a wee pull and they go under... then pop back up again.

I tend not to with muddlers as I usually tie them on a bigger hook. I may apply floatant bankside and use them to slow the descent of the leader so I can fish slow and high.
