Default A few wee flees with Guinea Fowl

I just discovered yesterday a close neighbour goes fly fishing and once tied his own flies, he very generously handed in a few materials, included were some lovely dyed Guinea Fowl feathers, so I had a wee play today.

These are on 12's and 14's:

Those are sweet Gary
I was always put of guinea fowl due to it being used as a sub for blue jay and applied to densely.
I notice that you like to rib your flies anti clockwise is there a reason for this?

Normally the ribbing would be clockwise, but as the body is 3 strands of dyed pheasant, tied in the direction of the thread (clockwise), the ribbing is tied in the opposite direction to secure it.
