Default Flexi floss problem

Hi all I am fairly new to fly tying and when I tie a black & white buzzer using flexi floss as soon as I varnish or bug bond it the white seems to go black is it me or is this a common problem ??
Thanks in advance

Hi m8 I take it your using White flex floss and black thread
If that is the case then yes the floss will go black this is caused by the thread underneath and the stretch in the floss and the colour comes through when you apply bb or varnish
Iv got buzzers like this and I use a small pearl tinsel under the felxy floss and that does the trick
But don't be put of with the floss looking black as it adds another dimention to the fly

I find this on threadless flexifloss patterns involving black and most other colours so stopped usiing these combinations. I assumed it was the varnish or superglue bleeding the black out-anyone have any solutions/experiece of this?

all the best Nick
