Default Beads

I know there are different size beads for different size hooks, is there a chart to say what size beads fit different size hooks.
Thanks very much.

I've discovered through trial and error that you only know through trial and error (more or less). Some beads at say 2mm have bigger "bore" than others...depends who makes them. Also, a bead might fit on a B100 size 12 but not on a B110 size 12 because of the curvature of the bend and the thickness of the hook wire..............also, some beads have a slot to alleviate this curvature / wire thickness problem.....you pays your money etc etc

You can get your beads onto most hooks, you just have to position them in your vice in reverse and straighten them a bit. Then put you're bead on and put the bend back in. Use your common sense to work out what beads won't go over certain wire thickness's and I wouldn't do them on flat forged hooks. Oh, aye, if you're keen to keep the barb (sometimes it gets flattened a bit) pop a scalpal blade under it and you can stick it back up. Hope this helps your dilemna.
