Default Zonkers

Can anyone give me some advice on zonker patterns for pike. I am looking to tie a few for the pike fishing. I have had a go at a few but some step by steps or videos would be awesome.

Does anyone have an online vendor that supplies a decent quantity for good money or a mixed bag of colours and hair length?

Thanks in advance

Jonny

Have a look here for some pike fly tying videos and links. I don't know if they include zonkers.

they dont have to be that difficult to tie this one is
Ad swier 2/0 hook
Red cross cut rabbit for the body
Magnum tiger tail and over the top of the red
And personally none of the flies i tie would be more than 6 inches

Here is something very similar, although these are tied as Tarpon Flies on size 2/0 Varivas 2600v hooks.

Bottom fly tied Matuka style, inasmuch as zonker strip secured at rear of shank, then brought up over the crosscut body, and secured again at head.

These style of flies work absolutely brilliantly for Tarpon, although in much more subtle hues as far material colours are concerned, and I see no reason why dressed in such gaudy combos as shown, and with perhaps a bit more flash, wouldn't work well for pike.
