Here's a few pictures of a fly that did me proud the last visit to Uist. In the Machair lochs I've always done well with a Golden Olive bumble on the bob, especially when you see a few fish splashing about. The last few visits though I've convinced myself that I catch more quality fish on stickleback imitations so this was an effort to hedge my bets, a golden olive bumble, stripped down a bit and a pearly rib. It did well on the bob, but actually better in a #12 on the middle even outfishing a skinny pearly dabbler.
