Default Tweeking a Salmon pattern

Hi Guys

Whilst having a bash at catching my first Salmon i tied all sorts of patterns one of them was this ???? Cant remember where i saw it or what its called ?? think its North American pattern ?

Either way i love it !

Ive decided to tie a few up on longshank trout hooks and try it on winter rainbows and next season for browies, i just think its a lovely looking pattern and my gut says it will be a killer ............

Englander,
Its a pattern called the 'SILVER RAT' a north american pattern that not much talked about. It works well in the west of Ireland and in particulary on the river DROWSE in donegal.Usually tied on small hooks for fresh run grilse.Good on the upper moy as well.A nice pattern that should also work well for sea trout
