Black & Gold U.V. Dabbler

Here's another that's served me well over the last couple of seasons. Quite a versatile little number, peforming well in all sorts of conditions, up and down the leader, up and down the country too. I find it particularly useful in bright sunlight on the middle, especially on a size 12.

Black & Gold U.V. Dabbler

Hook: Kamasan B175 10, 12 or 14
Tail: Bronze Mallard
Rib: Gold, silver or black wire
Body: Black, Gold & U.V. Micro Straggle type stuff.
Body Hackle: Black hen
Cloak: Bronze Mallard
Cheeks: JC splits
Thread: Black UTC 70 den

Its too late I have done quite a few different ones already somewhere in the teens with a few of the staple diet like the dunkeld and olives.
