Very nice.

Have you read Ed Engle's books?

Do you know the blog Small Fly Funk -

Small Fly Funk

Have you seen Gareth Lewis's site -

Fly Fishing in South Wales | Detailing a professional fly fishing/game angling instructor's personal fly fishing experiences and exploits on the small, wild streams and rivers of Merthyr Tydfil, South Wales and beyond. www.ffisw.com.

All great stuff if you're into the 'small'.

Its a very challenging way to fish......After having bought and read... cover to cover... both of ed's books...tying small flies and fishing small flies.. I have been tying and using midges most of last season.... I use a jewellers loop to help me see to tye.. and a good light.
The problem I had was tying the flies to the leader without the leader kinking at the fly.. upsetting the presentation.
It is a terriffic sensation hooking and playing a fish on such small flies...on such light leaders...1 1/2 -2 lb tippet....
A big plus is that you only need to carry one fly box and not my usual 10-12
I've got plenty ideas to tye for next season.....

Another good book to look out for " Modern Midges , tying and fishing the worlds most effective patterns."

Cheers David..
