Default Greetings....and The Candystriper

Thought I should introduce myself before I post a photo of one of my patterns. My name is John hailing from Alberta, Canada and I must say how in awe I am of the quality of tyers frequenting this forum. I managed a fishing resort on Tunkwa Lake (tunkwalakeresort.com) but change of ownership forced me to move on so here I am in Alberta working in the oilfield. I work four on and four off which affords me lots of time for fishing, tying and moose hunting. I've been tying commercially since '92 and, frankly, motivation has become an issue as of late.

The Candystriper is an attractor bloodworm of sorts and has accounted for many rainbows over the years. Though usually tied with a beadhead I've become inspired by the buzzer style tying I see represented so well on this forum so have a look and critique to your hearts' desire.

Agreed & welcome. That fly has lots of potential, both as is & for other patterns as well. I'm sure others will, like me, look forward to future postings from you.
