Just a little something I knocked up this evening as I was in one of my more creative moods again. Tied on a kamasan B175 size 10.

Thread - brown
Tail - hot orange GP tippets
Body - black, brown, amber seals fur mix
Rib - fine gold wire
Palmer - furnace hen
Neck hackle - partridge
Head hackle - jackdaw

Nice tye,

Seem to remember a lure that wad popular at Avington a good while back - heavily weighted with coloured flash known as the Firebird but not known as The North Dakota firebird.

Really neat tying I like it a lot. A slightly more subdued tail (maybe) and I can see it hammering shrimp feeders.

The outstanding thing for me though is the picture. It really is very clever composition, the colours of the body and hackle complementing the table and black background works very well
