Post New scissors and tools

Hi experts, after dabbling with fly tying over the years and buying cheap tools, I have now acquired a nice Anvil Atlas vice and am thinking of upgrading some of the scissors and tools. I realise there are dozens of tools and gadgets out there but what is the minimum QUALITY tools I need. What types and sizes of scissors do I need, and any other tools. Please name the best makes. [in your opinion]. And any tips on dubbing, I find it hard to get the material [SLF] to stick to the thread, waxed or not.
Cheers Phil

I find that if I wet my fingers slightly (with saliva) and then twist the dubbing onto thread, the dubbing seems to take to the thread better. A quick scrub with velcro soon brings the fibres back out.
