Default Buzzery Wet fly

Just playing at the vice when I came up with this.

I added the pearl tail and rib to represent the shiny body of the natural buzzer. I added the dark red flexi floss to imitate the blood and to add some movement.

I then added a cree hackle to help it float and also to add that sort of choppy and rough colouration of the wings that also makes the fly look like its got some life in it.

Hook Wet fly size 12
Tail pearl krinkle flash
Rib 1 mirage
Rib 2 Green mono
Body black thread
Legs Dark red flexi floss left showing over the eye
Hackle Cree cock

I'm sure it will catch fish, it just looks weird.. At first I thought it was from Toxic Evo

I think less would have been better.
You are trying to make one fly have to many attributes IMO.

Totally agree, no doubt it will catch fish... Personally I'd change the flexi legs, for a red seals fur thorax, rough it up a bit.
