Default Heckham and amber

Another winged wet for a change, I was initially going to mix the amber and cinnamon seal but went for a body and thorax separation, but maybe next time. I hope the naming of this one is correct, if not somebody please correct me before I change it to 'blueberry muffin and tangerine dream surprise'. Tied on a kamasan B175 size 10.

Thanks for looking and all comments welcome

Mark, great tying as always. May I be a bit bold and suggest the tail looks a bit long ?

I would happily fish that Mark
I always find it weird about colours though as the amber sf doesn't look like amber as I always imagine it to be slightly darker with more of a tinge of orange.

Yes I know what you mean Dabhoy, I tend to think it looks more yellowy than orange although it might take on a more orangey look while submerged in the water, i sometimes feel I need to mix it with a fiery brown or golden olive to tone it down slightly but I dub it very sparsely so you can just about pick the brown thread out unerneath which tends to take the edge off a touch. I'm now seeing this fly with GP tippets rather than GP crest for the tail for some reason, I blame that Eddie for making me neurotic.
